Hi everyone, welcome to the forum! My name is Rebecca Pearce, I'm the project coordinator for the Hearsay project - a project involving two artists (John Turpie and Siv Grava) visiting the Baxter Detention Centre to work with refugees and asylum seekers in a series of workshops to create a visual art installation to be exhibited during Adelaide Fringe 2004. We plan to conduct our first workshop at Baxter this weekend, and would love to hear from you about your experiences of working with people in detention, particularly either at Baxter or Woomera Detention Centre, and the types of challenges you faced. Siv and John will also be joining the forum soon - so jump onto the forum and share your thoughts and experiences with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
