Federal Shadow Minister for the Arts, Peter Garrett is coming to SA to talk to artists and arts workers.
Community Arts Network SA and the Arts Industry Council SA are hosting the “Your Shout” forum.
Mr Garrett is interested in updating the arts and cultural sectors on the work that has been undertaken by the Labor party following the feedback from the Arts Discussion Paper.
In this lead up to the federal election, he is also very keen to hear, the hopes and concerns of artists and artsworkers in SA.
A date is yet to be set for this forum. (It would be easy to think that there was a federal election campaign going on!)
Word is late September or early October, but stay tuned for future announcements.
