Cascade Place is an Adult Day Service of the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland, located on the Hutchison Street side of Humpybong Park, Redcliffe (approx. 45 minutes drive north of Brisbane CBD). Over the last five years the centre has evolved physically as well as philosophically to become a space that provides arts and cultural development opportunities for both clients and the broader community. Alongside a regular program of arts-based workshops, projects include a yearly art exhibition, convening the bi-annual Humpybong Park Green Fair, the development of a community garden and hosting the Redcliffe Independent Permaculture Enthusiasts (RIPE). Cascade Place is unique amongst League centres and is widely recognised in both the disability and community cultural development sectors for its achievements.
